“I was born and raised in Greenfield. After finishing high school and starting a family, I remained in the neighborhood, eager to deepen my roots and raise my family in the community I was raised in.

Unfortunately, my dream didn’t last long. After working hard to build credit and save for a down payment we were finally ready to buy a home. Unfortunately for us, houses appreciated rapidly and we were priced out of the neighborhood—away from the family and friends we knew and loved for generations.

After nearly 30 years of living in the same neighborhood, I found myself suddenly uprooted and searching for a new place to live.

And as a real estate agent, I discovered that I wasn’t alone. I had to help people in similar situations leave the community they were born and raised in. The devastation that comes with losing your home to financial hardship, regardless if you rent or own, your home is your community, and that is something no one should ever have to go through.

This is why I started New Local Realty: 

At New Local Realty, its not just a business, its  a movement to invest in our communities without disenfranchising the people who live here.

As a dragon, I live by the Taylor Allderdice motto; Know Something, Do Something, Be Something.

Know Something -

I know that permanent housing stabilizes family dynamics and creates stronger communities. I also know that permanent housing is an actual threat to our community having experienced it first hand. 

Do Something -

I’m pouring my heart and all of my resources back into the community to make a difference by helping people with limited financial resources become property owners and investors, ultimately building generational wealth. 

Be Something -

Im hoping to be the change I wish to see in the world. 

But I cant do it on my own. 

Need your input. Your voice matters. There are organizations actively working to build and develop our neighborhood, but I believe that that shouldnt start without hearing what the residents, YOU, actually need and want in your community.
